Rolf's 00 guitar built by John Rollins, Bellingham, Washington.
Mike's Seven String Metal Tri-cone, built by John Morton, Port Townsend, Washington. This is a prototype. Only one other exists. It's tuned to Bb7.
Mike's Seven String dobro, built by Mark Thibeault of Rayco Resophonics, Smithers, British Columbia, Canada. This too is a prototype, and is currently one-of-a-kind. Mark used quilted maple and cocobolo binding for the guitar. The fretboard is ebony and the tuning keys are Waverly. The tuning is G7 (F G B D G B D).
Mike's Manzanita HR, built by Manfred Pietrzok, Rosdorf Germany. Mike calls it his crossbro because it's a cross between a dobro and a Weissenborn style guitar (like all Weissenborns, it has a hollow neck). Manfred decided upon German maple with letterwood binding for the crossbro. The fretboard is violetta. Mike's tunings for this guitar are E (E B E G# B E) and E minor (E B E G B E).
This is Mike's pre-Gibson maple bodied Dobro. The nut, bridge, cone, and tuning keys have been changed from the original, and are now ivory, ebony, Quarterman, and Waverly respectively. G (G B D G B D) and G minor (G B D G Bb D) are the tunings Mike uses on this guitar.
Michael Dunn built this harp ukulele for Mike's wife Sheryl, but Mike plays it more than Sheryl does. The wood is cocobolo and koa.
